Google Pixel 4a Design

The Google Pixel 4a is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G process that sports 6 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and 2 cores clocked at 2 GHz. It comes with 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 10. The Google Pixel is extremely handy and can be easily operated with one hand. It has dimensions of 144 x 69 x 8.2 mm, which makes it smaller than the Google Pixel 3a while sporting a bigger screen. One-handed use is almost effortless and significantly easy to handle. It is light, too, only 143 grams which makes it lighter than its predecessor and the new iPhone SE.

This is due to its polycarbonate unibody which makes it lighter but not as elegant-looking and neither does it provide a premium feel to the phone. The phone, however, does support proprietary fast charging. It is available only in black color. It supports Bluetooth v5.00 and USB Type-C and bears a plastic body.

Display

It has a 5.1-inch OLED display with Full HD+ 1080 x 2340 resolution and HDR support. It is the first bezel-less phone in the market, as claimed by Google but we can see some bezels at the base of the display as well as the edging around the rest of the display is thicker than observed on some of its rivals.

It anyway manages to provide an aesthetically-pleasing finish and the selfie camera sits comfortably on the notification bar without disturbing the harmony of other icons placed on the tray. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 but it is not as durable as it is not the most advanced version of the toughened glass. The screen additionally provides brilliant and amazing visuals and also has an aspect ratio of 19.5:19.

Google Pixel 4a Camera

The Google Pixel 4a has a total of two cameras: one 12.2-megapixel on the rear with an f/1.7 aperture and a pixel size of 1.4-micron and an 8-megapixel on the front with an f/2.0 aperture and a pixel size of  1.12-micron. It also has almost flawless image processing which produces high-quality pictures. The Google Pixel 4a also supports face unlock.
