COVID-19 and Travel. Great vacation ideas for the summer.

COVID-19 and Travel. Great vacation ideas for the summer.

Summer’s here, but some people say it’s cancelled… just like most flights to Europe. It doesn’t have to be this way, as well as taking CBD oil and eating delicious gummies, there’s still lots of other ways to cope and places you can go to enjoy your holidays.

Here are the top tips to make the most of the coronavirus summer:

Go on a road trip

Take a road trip this summer since air travel is questionable right now. National park is the most typical road trip destination but assuming that Yellowstone or Zion opens this summer people and their dogs will be heading towards it. Instead, you should look for small town in your own state.

Visit a small town

By doing some research select random towns in your area. You’ll discover a new place, have great stories to share and you might even end up uncovering a hidden gem.

Visit a fancy big hotel

You might be hesitant to book a hotel, but don’t be! The big chains are taking great measures to make their environments safe and sound for you. They have limited capacity, key-less rooms and they’re constantly disinfecting all areas. You know you’ll be entering a safe space when you visit a hotel.

Take a Staycation

Staycations are great. All you need to do is use a couple of days of your paid time off from work. Do some research, see what’s open and begin your journey. You’ll be able to checkout everything from a local brewery that you always wanted to go to, to new and exciting restaurants.

Date Night

Some cities across America are closing down streets on select nights of the week. This creates more space for outdoor seating.

West Palm Beach in Florida has installed special tents near restaurants where you can enjoy your meals.

Checking out new spaces in your city is a great way to spice up your life and have a fun date night.

Scavenger Hunt

Set up a scavenger hunt around your city, if you have little ones. Collect some distinctive history which is still not discovered in your city. With the help of Google search try to find out the oldest fire department or your town founder’s house which may be the first house built in your city. Teach your kids about these locations with some fun “road trip” snacks and you will return home with new awareness about your hometown.

Play a game

Kids love Harry Potter and Pokemon. To make a walk interesting with your kids, introduce them to Pokemon Go! They’ll have a great time walking around finding new Pokemon.

You’ll be able to spend quality time with your kids, and they’ll be having fun and getting active at the same time!
